Very interesting indeed! I haven't seen this F-stop model before and a quick google search doesn't bring up anything.

I know it's a new to their line. The guru doesn't have that many review either, and it's been out for a year or so now. It might take a little bit for it to get out.

bump!

anyone have one? I have a loka and a thinktank sling-o 20 (that I've converted to a backpack). I love the loka, but it's a bit big for just photo trips. The sling is just about perfect, but it's so damn boxy (it looks like a cooler). I'm wondering if I should try a kenti for a while as well, or just stick with what I have?

Dan's got a great review up for those considering it: http://dancarrphotography.com …tography-backpack-review/ (external link)

I have one and love it :D fits all my gear , very well made and comfortable to carry around all day.

Its is a great pack for day trips , lots of room yet it is also very slim for a backpack ( you don't look like a turtle ) the waist belt helps a lot to keep the weight off your shoulders .

The top of the pack as an expandable rolled top which is ideal for a thin rain jacket / snacks etc , there are lots of little pockets and and a small zippered external pocket which is ideal for a mobile phone.

There is even an attachment for your car/house keys in the top of the accessary pocket so you don't have to search around the pack for your keys when you get back to the car.

I have found it to be the perfect backpack for my needs :D

I didn't know the Kenti existed when I was looking for a new bag, and settled on the Guru. Now that I've looked at reviews etc... I think I would have gone for the Guru anyway, for pretty much the reasons Dan Carr mentions in his review.

Hey Ben,

Just a note that after seeing the Loka on your back- the Kenti will seem tiny- you already make the Loka look small. Just keep in mind that it is much smaller and on a fellow of your size it may not be what your thinking.

Good point Ian, thanks. The think tank sling is TINY on me (looks like a beer cooler ). If I get a Kenti, it's not for serious hiking, just light/quick type stuff, so the length would be far less crucial, but it's still a good point. The only reason I'm considering one really is for the side access. Using my loka hanging from my tripod though, I've come to love the rear panel when used that way.

decisions decisions.
