My sister has asked me to Photograph here Engagement Photos for her. I am looking to see what lens I should use that I already own or if I should go rent a lens.

Setting will be Petco Park in San Diego

I am assuming my 17-40L would be ideal, but not sure if thats the best lens. I also own:

70-200l F4
28-135mm
50mm 1.8

Any advice would be great. I know there are a bunch of threads, but hoping to catch someone who has done an E session at Petco.

Thanks in Advance

The compression that comes from the longer focal lengths is much nicer for portraits. I could see you using all the lenses, each for a different purpose, but less so, the 17-40l. You are going to be outdoors, so depending on the light, f4 on the 70-200/7d should be able to get you what you need. Don't be scared to up the ISO, the 7d can handle it. I don't know Petco Park, but assuming open shade is plentiful?

Ive done a few things at Petco Park, and its really fun to shoot at (its the SD Padres Stadium for those who do not know). 70-200 and 17-40 to get some wide shots too.

Cool Thanks Brian.. This was my original thought to capute the moment and the ball park with the 17-40. Now that I heard it from someone else I am a little more comfortable with it.
