Drove to Yosemite for a winter day shoot. Got there after sunrise and made my way to valley view. broke my tripod as i was lowering it...heard a snap and noticed 1 leg just completly shattered from the joint...luckily i had cell reception and rang up my friend who was in the valley as well, had a McGuyver moment and used some ductape...so rest of the day i could only shoot from 1 height and tripod extended a certain way...gets your creative juices flowing to get something done.
