So..I mad the hour and half trip to Wolf only to find out that they didn't sell Canon gear. Yay.
So far, I've bought a lens off of eBay and I've been searching Craigslist too.
Where do you all get your stuff from?

This forum, Fred Miranda, ebay, locally advertised items, B&H, Adorama and any camera store that has what I need when I travel. Unless you live near or in a city with great camera stores (like New York), you have to take advantage of the deals that come your way!

Equipment list - According to the wife - "how many more lenses do you need? Yet another camera?" ???

I avoid eBay and craiglist at all cost (ia was burned at eBay once, wont happen again plus the savings are not usually that great depending on the item)

I buy new from B&H, Adorama, some times from Amazon when and only when is sold by Amazon, and refurbished from the Canon website

I buy used here at POTN and look closely at Fred Miranda forum, look for feedback and make lots of question looking for iffy seller
So far I have been lucky

I bought once from Best Buy. Never will again. Strictly Adorama (4 blocks away) and Calumet across the street.

90% from B&H, followed by Amazon. I did buy my 7D from CompUSA, largely because I was able to get a much better (10%) refund there from Bing than the 3% B&H was offering.

B&H Photo, Adorama, Midwest Photo Exchanges, KEH & OEC Camera off ebay. I bought my 7d using the canon loyalty program also.

I used to buy some used equipment off the sell section here before alot of sellers began asking more for used equipment than retailers for new.

My sister, the professional baker and cake decorator once told me that my camera takes great pics. My reply was that I thought her oven baked great cakes.

Cameras, lenses, filters - B&H, Amazon, Adorama.
Tripods, heads, etc. - RRS.
Batteries, hoods, remote triggers - EBay. I'd prefer not to buy anything off ECrapo, but for small stuff that is cheap they work.

Every where, the forums, eBay, amazon, craigslist. I only buy from brick and mortar stores if I am impatient.
