I thought this was kind of interesting, the aurora changed shape within minutes of these two shots. The outline was pointed out to me (of the space where the stars are and no aurora) to look like a wolf head in the first shot and an eagle head in the second! Weird huh?

You need to collect 10-12 shots with images in them, and collobrate with a writer to make a children's book, seriously.

in the first one (the "wolf" one), I see an eagle swooping down in the aurora itself. The head is the bright part of the aurora just to the right of the wolf, and above that are wings stretching out.

They look fantastic. Does the wind affect aurorae at all?

Very cool. I have never heard that the wind can effect the aurora. It's very high up, several 100mi above.

Hmm not sure if it can or not. I wonder what causes its movement

It is the magnetism of the earth that makes the light move the way it does.
