Attempted some light painting with this shoot. I know the painting was kinda blotchy. Guess it's just something I need to keep working on. C&C is welcomed and appreciated!

thats pretty clean (the car) but a little too low for me, but nice pictures, helps with the white car at night.

#1 is pretty nice, the harsh shadow on the wall looks a bit odd (creepy maybe haha)
#2 the lighting looks a little uneven, but i like the concept
#3 is pretty neat. i just like seeing the background in a shot, the car looks like its floating in space.

overall the shots are nice, and i love the car

He's actually getting a new sets of coils soon to go even lower. He likes his car low.

Nope, it's the stock white water pearl.

Great car! I have an 2004 GT and absolutely love it. It looks great in white too, and with white rims is a nice finishing touch. #1 is a good shot but I would have closed the back windows, most people though won't notice that but since I'm an owner it's bothering me lol. For me the shadow it's casting in the background is kind of a distraction. Other than that is a really good shot, #2 and #3 are not bad shots, just not my taste but I do appreciate the look you were going for. Curious though, what sort of light painting did you do for these shots?

The back window was the owner's choice. He's also a photographer, so I wasn't the only one taking pictures. For the painting, I used a flash with an umbrella and popped it once per frame and then later put it together in post.

Not sure about the suspension setup but #3 is fantastic. I'd love that as a background for my computer ;)

You're getting some good highlights in them. Keep it up & try to even them out.

Beautiful car, I love the #2. I can just see it against some autumn colour maple trees at night too! As a fellow RX8 owner the owner of this one has done a very nice job on a clean and tidy tune. Great find and really like your shots!

Just found this, another RX-8 owner here, I guess a lot of rotary fans are photography fans. :) Nice shots! I know the car, I only know him as Tiltmode on RX8club.com though. He's had a lot of different setups on that car, my favorite were the green wheels, can't remember what rims they were though. Anyways, had to say hi... and this reminds me that I need to get out and shoot my car more often, lol. :)

He's actually not tiltmode, but is a friend of his. His name on rx8club is dlum125. Maybe you've seen him around!
And also, here's a more recent shot, just taken Veteran's Day! He's getting a body kit soon also!

And again... missed a spot. LOL.

Oops, I saw super slammed white RX8 with white rims and instantly thought it was Tiltmode, sorry about that.. I haven't been on RX8club much lately. Either way, still great photos! :)
