I did a shoot tonight. Critiques anyone?
Still new to the portrait game, so be harsh on me.

(if you must know, this was done outdoors)

Good work all around.

If you have a second strobe, you could use it to separate his hair from the blackness, but I like them all the same.

No bragging list - I just rent whatever the job requires.

Agreed

actually doesn't matter. you can use the same WB settings if the lighting wasn't changed.

Agreed

actually doesn't matter in a controlled environment. you can use the same WB settings from #3 on #1 and 2 if the lighting wasn't changed.

I like #1 and #3 the best, slightly more detail in the shadows, but #1's white balance is off

I think he needs a watch or something on his wrist in #1. Or did he just catch a fly? ;)

Well, I'm sitting in a coffee shop on a laptop with a terrible glare so I should not comment on the details but I like the images, subject and exposure. Thanks

Think about NOT using the word "retarded" in a derogatory manner - it insults those who cannot defend themselves - and hurts the ones who love them. Please see: http://www.r-word.org/ (external link)

Thanks. I'll definitely watch the white balance more next time.
