Hey there everyone! This is my first post on POTN and just wanted to say "hi". These are from a recent shoot I did with a girl named Alexandrea. We had a great time and I think we got some good photos out of it. Let me know what you think!

Hello Lawrence and welcome to POTN - I think you'll find it to be a rewarding place.

My forte is not model work but I feel you've done a nice job here and thanks for sharing. The first top b/w conversions are my favorite of that type.........like the way you captured the flowing hair, good shadow and highlight detail without blowing out any bright areas. The last shot is pleasant and fun but I feel the extra amount of sky distracts from the subject. You could stand losing the top third.

Thanks for sharing. - Stu

Thanks Stu! The last one I agree, I should crop it down onto her instead of the sky as well. Takes away from the model herself.

Agreed. Also love the model and posing etc. My first thought on #3 (laying on tree) was, reposition th arm so it wasn't flattened and appearing larger - and have her take a dep breath and arch her chest a bit. - Just my 2 cents - Welcome and thanks for jumping right in with the posting/ Sharing - that's admirable. Best of luck!

Think about NOT using the word "retarded" in a derogatory manner - it insults those who cannot defend themselves - and hurts the ones who love them. Please see: http://www.r-word.org/ (external link)
