2DP Member 118 posts Joined Jun 2011 More info | #3 is your best image, but all images unfortunatley, have missed (soft) focus on the action. #1 & #3 would be better images with a tighter crop. Your timing is good. A better lens, with a lower f stop and higher shutter speeds of 1/2000+ will make a dramatic change. Colors are fine. Maybe increase expose slightly (check your histogram).

Sep 05, 2011 12:48 | #6 i do want a faster lens my current one is constantly giving me OOF shoots at 300mm I actually have a problem with it focusing behind the subject a lot of the time i have about 300 other pictures from that day that are focused on the croud and the players are OOF even tho im using a single center focus and the players are dead center in the frame [1D MarkII] | 50mm 1.8 | 75-300mm F4-5.6
