Friends -
I happened to compare the software CD's I received with my G1 when I bought it a year ago and my D30 which I received this week.
The G1 came with a CD labeled Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk Ver.4.0 - the D30's CD is labeled Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk Ver.2.0!
The versions of the software bundled in these CD's correspond to these numbers; when there is a difference in the versions listed my "old" CD has the newer version, i.e. ZoomBrowser EX 2.6 is on the CD I got a year ago, ZoomBrowser EX 2.4 is on my "new" CD. I know I haven't confused them because I haven't cut open the shrink wrap on the newer CD.
Does this seem odd or am I missing something?
