You can C&C if you like, but these are more for just your enjoyment (and my enjoyment of sharing).

As mentioned: Enjoy. Let me know if you want more.

1. On our flight from Atlanta to San Diego, I kept watch on the monitor and on the window for the Mighty Mississippi River. I had to boost contrast a ton and really mess with it to bring out any kind of detail. There was a ton of moisture in the air.

2. If you look carefully (I only had my 28-135 with me) you'll see a whale spout about two miles out. California Gray Whale in Cardiff, California.

3. I'm not a big fan of this kind of thing (capturing wild orcas and stuffing them into bathtubs), but this thing was impressively large.

4. Although the skies were a bit gloomy, the surf was excellent.

5. Not the best picture (sharpness, contrast, etc.), but it was on the fly, so I got lucky enough. Surfers and dolphins.

6. Big waves bring in big kelp.

7. Big waves washed in lobster traps....older ones, clearly, because giant kelp had already attached its roots to it.

8. One of my favorite photos from the trip. Unridden perfection.

Thank you. bw!
