Testing

Preparation for a balloon ride. I'm not sure if the folks there are excited to be going/crewing or thankful for the brief respite from the morning chill.

Nice one Jon. I love the colors of the flame and the sky. How many exposures did you use for this shot?

Thanks Gene. This is the typical (for me) 7 shot bracket at +/- 1 EV. I then masked in several of the original exposures at various opacities.

Oh man that would be soooo cool to go up in one of those. Cool flames on this!

Jon - As the others have already said, the colours of the flame and sky are super but I also like the way the light reflects off the faces of the people....and all gazing at the flame.

Even where I was standing that flame put out some serious heat. Those folks up close must have felt like their faces were melting.
