It always cracks me up when clients postpone a shoot because they haven't gotten to their goal weight. Well this would be more of a motivation! Drop 20 lbs save 10 bucks!

As a fashion photographer I have mixed views on this.

I don't want to shoot any fat models so this is an incentive for them to keep their weight down. On the other hand most fashion models are quite tall so, if they are in proportion, they will be penalised for having a higher weight than someone who is only 4 feet 6 inches high.:rolleyes:

Maybe I should work out a rate card which depends on BMI.

Okay, here's the personal trainer in me talking...BMI wouldn't work either. For instance, two 200 lb. 5'8" men, one with a 6% body fat, and the other with a 30% body fat would be indistinguishable (and both be considered "obese") based on BMI calculations, since it is solely based on height and weight.

I'm totally hiring this guy for a newborn shoot :D

I think it is a cute promotion and probably got him a ton of traffic to his sites. If a person is not happy with their weight then they don't have to go to him. There were some nasty comments in the original link. People need to lighten up.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.
