few hawk shots , 7d, 100-400

Light was a little challenging, as most of the time it was back lighting. However, I did manage a couple of decent shots. used my newly acquired monopod for parts of it. Have to say, have mixed feeling about it, esp when the hawk flies over my head, I feel I am not as agile with it. so here are the shots. tell me what you think.

Overhead shots are tough, no matter what. These shots all came out quite nicely, though...I really like the shot down with the surf in the background.

Nice work Kevin.
For this sort of work you might consider putting away the monopod and investing in a Flight Brace. It is made by a member here, Joe F.N. and used by many. See the link in my thread. You will not be sorry if you do.
