Post your best selective coloring photos. I will post a couple when I get home. I am trying to do this as a project so wanted to see ideas from different people.

I'm not a huge fan either, but the following photograph is probably my best. Haven't really done it since.. #30, Reflected Field - Edit flickr

It's all in the eye of the beholder, of course. If it's done correctly, it can be quite amazing. I agree. To each his own.

Let's not get off track and turn it into an argument about the merits of the technique. I'm hoping that the photos posted might change my mind about it... Sue Cassidy

The background was mostly gray with a few spots of color that were rather distracting. Otherwise i'm usually not a fan. Simple Mickey VanillaImaging.com

Sort of sounds like an AA meeting or something. No need to tell us you don't like the effect either. I am not into sports pictures, but I certainly don't go to the forum and tell them their picutres look like sh!t. I just stay out of that fourm. Those not interested in this form of photography can do the same. We might see how some people are using this effect in a good way if they don't feel that they are going to get blasted.
