Very cool images.... You must spend a fortune on mealworms. I went through 180,000 this season and had 2 successful nestlings. when they fledged and I removed and cleaned the house the nest material had a cupfall of live mealworms within the nest material, obviously they were well fed ;)

Thanks everyone,

We love to photograph our birds and share them, and we really appreciate all the encouragement.

Dan - We have a standing mealworm order of 10k/mo. Our Bluebirds do get most of them, but many of our other regulars (Chickadees, Nuthatches, Cardinals, Carolina Wrens, Titmice, and so on) will get a portion too. And we serve them daily all year round. We also usually find a few still in the Bluebird nests after fledging.
