or am i wrong? i keep seeing 'TACT' written on the forum by other members, which made me wonder what the hell 'tact sharp' is, lol.

LOL. though with the tact of some people - it could be dual meaning! :)
but to answer the question - i agree. the saying is tack sharp....

but you guys, you don't get the point of this thread.

yesterday i bought my new 50L, but noticed it suffered from focus shifting with up close subjects. i sent it in to canon, and since it was under warranty they did it for free. but since i was already close to irvine, i just whistled for a cab, and when it came near, the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. if anything i can say is that this cab was rare, but i thought 'man forget it' - 'yo home to bel-air!'
