I personally dont see anything wrong with the beenie, Look back at the 30's 40's and 50's at the hats they had on in photos.

I bet people even back then thought the same way about hats that where in style. haha

I agree to a point. Perhaps the beanie just hasn't caught on to the extent that the hats shown in this photo had. And perhaps I'm getting too old. Nearly every man wore a hat similar to these during the time frame pictured. The beanie has no where near that acceptance yet. It's surely just an opinion and as I said, the client is always right. If he wants to wear a tu-tu and a fedora it's his choice.

Wow these shots are great ! I love the colours in all of them, especially 3 & 5.

Did you have a filter on the lens ?

No filter used, just adjusted the white balance in Adobe Raw Converter.

Thanks again for all your comments, it was a great session to shoot. I tend to connect with the younger clients being that I am only 31 myself.

Awesome! Love the colours and the backgrounds........the hat doesn't bother me at all. If that's what makes someone comfortable in front of the camera, go with it! Nice shots!

I'm loving number 3! I hope to one day shoot shots that I enjoy as much as I enjoy these. Looks like you have a great eye for composition. Great job.

I'm just catching this one... a little late, I know. I LOVE your style. These are wonderful... we're waiting for your next release.

I never caught this one either when you first posted. Wow, these are really great shots. #4 is great, that is really unique look spinning like that, it's cool. Now, on #6, did you have someone shake the tree for the leaves to fall down, lol, too cool!

I'm not sure if your still tracking this thread, but I'd be interested in what you take along with you on a shoot like this?? A big reflector and a flash gun? Your technique has superb results.

Excellent Job Toogy:D Great colours, Great compositions. The only things I would change is the ring position in pic #11. Oh and lose the beanie. Thats just my opinion;)
