Maligne Lake Reflections (Jasper)

Few more reflection shots... These are from Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park.

The first one is about an hour or so before sunset. The sky was quite cloudy at that time, but thankfully the light at sunset remained good. Hope you like these.

I really like how the colors pop without looking like anything was overdone. Very beautifully done!

Fantastic. For me 2 and 3 are best with 3 in the lead. I like them better than 1 not only because of the interesting boathouse, but because of the wonderful warm tones on the mtn peaks. Gorgeous colors.

Great shots!

Would you mind sharing if you used filters and if so, which ones? Was the exposure obtained via HDR? I always find it difficult to expose the sky and ground together properly.

I did use filters; for the first shot it was either 2 or 3 stop ND grad (most likely 3). For the other two, I may also have used regular ND in addition to grads to slow down shutter speed which helps with reflection. All of these are single exposures - no HDR.
