First hockey post of the season. Forgot to set the WB and left it on AWB...Shot in .jpg as I was just messing aruond...doh!

They look pretty good to me. Were you shooting through the glass?

Looks pretty good for using an AWB. What lens and settings did you use??


Canon 7D, Canon 40D

nice shots . when you are shooting hockey what do you normally use for a white balance ?

Thanks for the comments...

The camera/lens was the 20D and the 200L f2.8 prime lens. Shot in manual mode with the aperture at f.28 and the shutter roughly 1/400...ISO 800.

It depends on the rink...I find I get fairly decent results taking a WB reading off the ice surface

These were shot over the glass and not through it.
