Yep. Used them for an A/V receiver, Logitech Harmony remote control, and some camera gear...had no problems at all. YMMV.

thx guys, just bought ef 70-200 f:/2.8 is II

I think I bought my AV receiver and speakers from them a few years ago. I actually got a better receiver than I'd ordered. I think Yamaha was in the middle of upgrading their line and I wound up getting the newer version. :)

When I lived in NYC, thats where I went for all my audio and computer stuff. Their camera department is "small" when compared to a B&H..

As for camera gear, yes, J&R's dept is beaten by the best camera store in the country, B&H. But, they got it all, prices are good, and they are open on Saturdays. B&H is closed on Jewish holidays.

I've been going to J&R for 25 years, always get treated well. If you are around WTC, City Hall, Pier17, go to J&R. BTW, they have music as well.
