Great Egrets of Plum Island

I just posed some photos of the Snowy Egrets I saw yesterday at Plum Island, but I also got some fantastic looks at some Great Egrets as well! They were behaving the same way as the Snowys. They came to within 15-20' from me while I watched standing on the paved road. They were incredible! My best looks yet.

These were taken with an Xti and 55-250mm lens (no IS used) and all were handheld. Hope you like them!

Thank you dgraham329 and kmunroe for taking the time to look and comment. I was exceptionally proud of these as I don't consider myself a real birder. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time on this day.
