Ah. I only saw the part about Hawaii...

Since you don't have a passport (which you can easily get likely in a month or so), Here's some options I would choose for a week vacation either:

Hawaii or California + Las Vegas.

Since you live closer to the east coast you could always do DC, NYC, Florida, obviously Chicago on a holiday weekend trip...

It really depends on what you want to see and do.
