Sep 12, 2011 12:25 | #14 Thank you all for the comments. I've been 'playing' with different setups for the past three weeks. I've only got a chance to shoot these once a week, so this is third time experimenting. I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II and a 70-200 f/2.8 lens. If I owned a macro lens I would probably use it instead. These are extreme crops from the original shots. I shoot at or around f/16. The lighting is still a work in progress but as soon as you realize that you can really take a picture of water, only the reflection off or refractions through it, then the sooner you understand how best to try and light something like this. 5DmkII, 5DmkIII, 5DS R, 15mm, 16-35 f/2.8 II L, 100 Macro f/2.8 L, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS, 85 f/1.8, 580EX II, 580EX, 550EX
