I noticed in many of the categories to post photos, nobody provides their camera setting for that shot. Is there a reason such as "secret ingredients" or simply overlooked?

There are many beautiful photos and I thought it would be nice if the OP provided their settings and lens for the shots they take to help us amateurs determine how they did it.

Anyone?

Thanks

Many times the settings are just a right click away. Do you have an EXIF reader installed in your browser?

No, and didn't know what an EXIF reader was until you wrote it and I looked it up. Sounds cool if it does what they say it does.

Do you have a recommendation of one to use?

BTW, I see what you mean with a right click on the photograph, unfortunately, it doesn't provide aperture and shutter speed.

Thanks

Depends on your browser. I'm using Chrome and I installed something called "Exif Viewer" that works well for my purposes. It can be found here (external link).

That wasn't the one I installed but installed that one also.

I'll compare.

Thanks

Ahh, I see it's just another right click and the EFIX info is on the menu.

Thank you for the help, guys.

Sorry....was away from the computer for a bit....FxIF is the one I would recommend too. Available details are now just a right click away! Good luck.

Yes, after playing around with several photos, I do like the FxIF better.

Thanks again.
