If the kirk clamp is a screw clamp it will not be a problem. My understanding is that the main issue with A-S plates from different suppliers than the clamp is in the width dimension in machining and anodizing. The clamps have to have a very precise tolerance on the width. The screw clamps don't have the same requirement.
Markins has a lever clamp too and they pretty much say the same thing as RRS. While theirs is adjustable, they still recommend sticking with the plates of all one manufacturer. Once you adjust it, you still need to have all the plates in close tolerance with one another. I don't think any of the clamp manufacturers have any issue with any plate (provided it's a quality plate) in any screw clamp.
