Nice. Does anyone know when Big Beautiful Doll came over to this side of the pond? The last time I took a picture of it was at RAF Duxford.

I attended the Air Show at Lincoln too on Saturday. I like your shots better than many of mine. I had the most trouble with the panned shots. I also had a lot of heat distortion from the ground. It was a clear day but many of my shots are slightly hazy. Good work!

There is...correction...was two P-51's painted as BBD. Unfortunately, in July at the Flying Legends show at Duxford the European BBD was destroyed in a midair with a Skyraider. Here (external link) is a video of the accident. Fortunately, everyone involved survived.

Panning shots take lots of practice before you can get consistent results. Don't give up.

I kept a few with the heat distortion, but didn't bother to post any to the gallery. For a clear day, and 82 degrees I was surprised at how high the distortion got.

Very nice! Love the angles in #s 1 & 3. We don't get those head-on shots here.
