I bought mine for $300 from Amazon last November. You might be well advised to sell the s95 before the s100 is officially released.

Trust me if i could right now it would have been put up. Issue is im leaving to the bahamas in three weeks. Mayra will be using that camera when we go diving so no way am i selling. Ill take the hit on the sale price down the road.

My 300 price was based on recent sales of the camera on this forum with one going for cheap due to pixel issues. If i need to go down to 250 then include the water case that would bump it back up around 300.

I dont think so. The S100 has molded grips on it and the S95 doesn't have that. I figure that would change the shape of the case.

None of those are ever 100% perfect fits between models. The good cases will have button placements that are unique--so an s90 and s95 case would be completely different. There are different waterproof cases for the g10/g11/g12, etc.

You right. Tom Cruise (even for being of average height) would stand closer to the camera during the filming of his movies to give off the illusion that he was taller. Im serious about that and it was taken into account always for his movie productions.

You could probably get more. Heck, for $250 I would even consider buying it :D Currently got an s90 and s95 in the family. Love the candybar.

A year since the s90 was replaced, and they're going for about $200 now. Something to keep in mind. Anyone in their right mind is going to want the s100 though--it's more than just a tiny incremental upgrade (compared to the s90 vs s95). I'd pick it up for the ISO boost alone (assuming the high setting is comparable to 3200 on the s95)

 The IQ of the s95 vs a gopro isnt even a fair contest  The S100 will be even better if the improvement are really as good as it seems. Im very interested to see the reviews come in. GPS inside the S100 is also what im looking forward inside canons next cameras.

Yup i hear you but you also have the other market who hates paying top dollar for anything. They wait for the previous models to go up for sale. So i will be catering to them. I almost picked up an S90 myself

Oh no not for video. That is the bread and butter of gopro but my purchase of the S95 was for pictures first with video being there as a just in case.

Depends on the people. Some men like taller ladies. And vice versa. I honestly don't see what difference vertical size makes--as long as I'm the physically stronger one in the relationship, I do not care :D
