That's cool. I like the look of your 500px site too. I'm looking into that as well, maybe keep Flickr for general photos and 500px for a portfolio. But that would also be double $50 a year.

500px is not a good hosting site though...you can really see the degradation of the photo if you host there and post them here... so I am ruling that out...but yes 500px is very nice for portfolio

I can just use 500px as a free portfolio..its 20photos a week. I think that's a lot already considering you will just be putting your really good keepers there.

It's okay, I'm fine with CS4 at the moment. When I decide to purchase CS5, or the next version, I'll look for some deal.

I am too lazy to even use those properly... LR3 is enough for me for like 95% of the photos haha

steven, how do you like the lee filters? i've been wanting a filter system but not sure if I should or not. at the moment i'm thinking about cheap filter system from ebay/china or just get the good stuff

I started with those cheap filters too... I like them but have not really fully used them yet, I just bought it a few months ago as well. Most of my shots have been shot with cheap filters ... if you really long for accurate colors these Lee filters are the way to go but be prepared to spend about $600

I am still in the process of buying a 16-35mm f/4 so I could utilize my filters. my current Sigma 12-24mm don't accept filters

This is probably the only worthy shot that I am proud of after using the filters for 2-3 months now... I just had no luck with sunsets/sunrise at the moment.
