Quick check in. That November event will be the intro to Canons 4k video cameras that I saw last year at the canon expo. Makes sense considering it's in Hollywood. Just my thoughts.

Back to my conference.

hair dryers for everyone

Canon rumors doesn't think it will be EOS or Mirrorless related... we'll just have to wait and see.

My guess is a cinematic camera, considering the even will be held in Hollywood. Maybe the 4K camera.

You need to get your butt in here more!

Everybody likes my butt. ;)

Morning Alex.

I watched that video Shabu Shabu and Crystal Cove. I couldn't hear the talkies from the music. Maybe lower it more when people talk? Just a nit... could just be me.

Yeah, for those parts I did take the audio up on the footage and lowered the music, but it's not perfect. The problem is too much background noise (especially at the beach with the wind and waves). I need a directional video microphone, or lavalier, when I save up more money. For now it's just the 7D's own mic, which picks up a lot of background noise. I'm considering the Rode Videomic.

I really want to get the Steadicam Merlin. $799 of video stabilizing goodness!

Or to announce they are adding another N in their name?

Cannon or Canonn?

Harm wrote in post #13113383 (external link)

You guys are off. Canon will announce the merging with Nikon, and the merged name will be... Canon. After which we will never hear of Nikon again. :p:lol:
