The 50 L is nice but, not a big fan bcoz' of the focus shift at wider apertures. The 35 L is quick like the 24 L in the AF department. Harm will certaunly understand once he tries a 35 L. :)

servo mode corrected the shift for me, i never noticed it :D

It depends. Most people complain that it's the lens when in fact it's the user. The 50 L is great but, not worth purchasing again imo. The only 50 I recommend is the Zeiss 50 MP. :)

this is a very true statement, i say most 50 problems come from users not the lens Jake ;)
