I"m not going to comment on the sunflare shots cuz I dont' do sunflare shots and don't really know what is good and bad in that regard. I quite like the light in the water shot, but would have loved to see her holding that pose and bringing her eyes back to the camera. The light in that image looks like it would have really made her eyes pretty, but she was looking away into the water.

I really love that shot with her and the 9-11 flags, very simple, yet effective. On that last shot, you found a place that puts some nice light in her eyes, as is evident by the catchlights and how you can see the color of her iris', but as soon as she put her hand up to her face, she effectively put a huge block of distracting white skin between her face and the camera. never mind that there is a hair elastic around her wrist (my biggest pet peeve with long haired girls, the hair elastic in the shot!) I find her chest to be disportionately large in that image, don't like the dead grass, I guess I like the light on her eyes and her expression so much I wish you'd reshoot that pose? ha ha. I think you did a very good job.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

This is an honest question - Do you have clients complain that you made their boobs look too big?

I didn't say I don't like solar shots. : ) I said I don't do them so I really don't know what to look for/suggest, as far as critiquing them goes, so I limited my comments to the other ones. Of course, I shouldn't say I don't DO them, I just don't do them intentionally.

If the flare in photos 1 and 3 is unintended, then it's good to figure out how to prevent it.

What lens were you using, and did it have a hood?

wouldnt matter. seems like he directed the lens right in the direction of the sun rays. Itd flare with or without the hood.

pictures are good, but i personally don't think shes model material.

I like #4, it has a lot of expression and everything looks balanced. The other pictures aren't really my favorite, but 4 really stands out, its a keeper.
