G6 just went ...... dead

Hello All,

I was going through of the menu settings on my G6 when it went dead. Lens is still out tried to turn it on and off, no luck.

Any suggestions?

take out battery, then replace.... ? headbuttin the LCD?

my g1 did the same thing a few weeks ago. someone told me it was the fuse that blows?
not sure if the g6 has the same problem. for canon's sake, i hope it doesn't.
good luck with your camera. seems like there have been DEAD problems with every single G camera that's out there. but not with the other models, if a company puts out 6 versions of one type of camera g1-g6 and the same problems are still existing, that's really sad on their part as a major manufacturer of cameras.

Took the battery out, charged it, put it back in, and ......

camera turned on. all seems well.

Maybe time to get a backup battery......
