Two shots of the same Tasmanian Devil, quite a cute little thing, but I wouldn't
recommend trying to pat him.

Looks like he/she's been in a few brawls and got nicked in the ears... Nice shots of a critter that I've only seen on TV (and here)...

Is this in a zoo? Your capture here is awesome.

He is a mean looking animal for sure and I hear they're really are mean too!

Hi John,

Thanks for the kind words.

They are a very aggressive little animal, but they are quite cute
to see in the flesh.

I have had the good fortune to hold one in the past.

Hi JohnnyG,

Thanks for your positive comments.

The shots were taken in a wildlife park, no bars, just a 3 foot concrete fence
around the animals enclosure.

The Tasmanian Devils reputation for being mean and aggressive is probably
a bit harsh.

Great photos

So thats what a Tasmanian Devil looks like.

In Denmark and Tasmania there has been a lot of fuss about these because Tasmania want to give a couple of these to Princess Mary.

Hi Tommy,

Glad you finally got to see what a devil looks like.

Not sure if they will have any spare ones to give to Princess Mary as the wild devils in Tasmania are having a lot of problems with disease killing many of them. Not sure if they are managing to keep it under control.

I don't think they're ugly either! Cute in a different way maybe.

Just how big are they?

If You could only see the way they tear a small animal to pieces, You wouldn't call them cute, they always show battle scars as they are always fighting amongst themselves. for their size, they have the strongest bite of any animal, You can loose a finger or hand in one bite. EW.
