I was looking for a way to speed up my Lightroom workflow. One of the things that slows me down is I'm constantly tinkering with the exposure, black, fill, brightness, and contrast sliders.
If there was just something I could click to boost these instead of the mouse, I'd be so much better off. I ran across Kevin Kubota's Speedkeys (http://www.kubotaimagetools.com …PG_SpeedKeys_cat_258.html
) which give me exactly what I want to do. Of course he throws in a bit of preset hotkeys as well (I don't use presets enough to need a quick key for them).
But, here's the problem. It costs $349! For a hopped up mini keyboard and a couple presets? No thank you! Plus, it's specific just for Lightroom. I'd like something I could tailor for other apps as well.
So, what are my other (more affordable) options? I believe if I just buy a numeric keypad or an extra keyboard, they don't "add" keys. Instead, they just work in conjunction with my keyboard.
I appreciate any advice and would like to know what others do. As far as I know, there aren't keyboard shortcuts for the functions I'm talking about. Instead, the existing shortcuts are more for selecting tools. True, I can use up/down arrow to boost a slider, but I have to still go through the effort of selecting the slider.
Thanks for any advice!
