Guys, i know we have some cat lovers in this group. I felt compiled to inform everyone that its "black cat awareness day today" Its a campaign to draw attention to the fact that black cats are often overlooked... Its run by the Cats Protection organisation, so lets see your black cat photos. http://www.cats.org.uk/black-cats (external link)

Lets see those kitties!

Heres one of my images i posted up..

QUOTED IMAGE

Mine is mostly black with some white bits on - does that count?

........ also, sorry for not really posting for a while. Been doing stuff, and bought a 7D about 4 weeks ago and been playing with that - done a few dragonfly shots and some birding last week.

I have been looking in several times a day though and must say the deer/stag shots are absolutely wonderful.

Congrats Penel for the 'feet' pic, its gorgeous - also love your greyhound shots, they are such beautiful dogs.

There are two of these by me, (had to double take when I saw a T2 '09 plate) I didn't realise they were re-done by VW either! I thought it might be a knock off version with the added grill for copyright reasons. Not entirley sure on the front, I still prefer the older shape but it is good to see them remade!

Had a VW camper van when I drove round OZ 20years ago, awful thing, slow, noisy, cold, hot, smelly, uncomfortable to drive, cramped and broke down every day cost a fortune to run hated it sold it and bought another one which was just as bad so gave up and got a 15year old Toyota hilux camper van, much better drove it for a year and it never missed a beat, I hope this version is better....

Air con, tv+dvd player, fuel injected engine that runs on unleaded and bio fuel, it's a bit of an improvement over the originals :)

lets hope so as the original was a pig to drive, the steering wheel and gear stick positions were just crap, and the seats made your back hurt because of the lack of any support, I was a fan until I owned one..

a day of messing around with cinemagraphs, need some ideas :(

Carve a pumpkin, put in a tealight and make the flame flicker - was an idea I have been mulling with. But try putting in a pause for a few seconds before the movement occurs.

I'll send the mother down the shops to get one soon, what a good idea! Thanks for that :)

Thanks Jon, I did wonder if I'd gone a bit OTT with the colours but it seems not from people's comments.

Definately not in my eyes either, its an awesome photo. I like the more saturated landscape/seascape shots.

Dave and then it looses the charm of the original, and Mark that is the charm of the original the T2 was never designed for crossing the outback but for a motoring holiday hopping from place to place it's perfect what you have discribed are character and why people love them ;)
