Evening all.
Priscilla was great last night, I didn't realise the show finishes tomorrow so I'm really glad we saw it.
I was very brave and took my camera with me - I've never done anything like this before so it was a bit nerve wracking! thanks to Clare, Lee and Mat for being encouraging beforehand I should've called it Homage to Mat really

I could be tempted by this. As much as I'd like to try a 365 I just cant see I'd have the time/inspiration to be able to carry it off. Whats the idea of the 52? Any specific subjects each week or just anything?

Just random thoughts ~ river scene, landscape, mode(s) of transport, animal or bird never photographed before, old building(s), modern building(s), churches, ruined buildings, macro, star trails, fungi, water falls, slow shutter speed captures..............​.i.e. something to concentrate the mind and creativity or in my case what passes for it

Edit ~ hmmm! letters of the alphabet wil give us 26 'subjects' so half a year taken up just with that as "thematic" starter
The challenge being to think of something beginning with each letter in advance to go photograph Bearing in mind it must be fairly obvious what the prime subject is to match that letter. More I think about it may be more trouble than it is worth with that as the starting point

We can do pretty much what we want, it would be nice to make it themed to try different things like star trails or do a meet as well. For those that are interested we can start another thread so not to get lost here for disucssion etc

Ok I'll ask. What does "slammed" mean? it looks a bit squashed to me amazing colour - and super shots. It doesn't look like a Fiesta at all!
