I set my f/stop in 'AV' to get a rough shutter speed, then switched to 'M' and increased the shutter speed to help eliminate camera shake & used 2x 430ex's for lighting on the car. :)

The Christmas party on the Millennium Falcon had now turned into a Limbo Dance Contest but Darth Vader senses a trap...

Great work, Penelope. They look fantastic.

+1 ... Penel they are a great set and you were v brave to take them - worth it though!!

Mark - glad that you're feeling less like jacking it all in ... And more just that you need to take time to enjoy it again and figure out your priorities when shooting. I would be delighted if you spammed us again soon with any of your wildlife shots ...!

Well it's New Years Eve kids ... Who's having a big party tonight?? Hope you all have a merry new year whatever you are doing. Personally I will be glad to see the back of 2011 and am looking forward to welcoming in 2012 with a sense of excitement. Roll on 2012.

I came across this blog on the Zenfolio site, about the cartoonist Aaron Johnson.
Some points in it, I like this.

Finally succumbed to purchasing a subscription to Kelby Training so when there is nothing on TV I can watch photography videos instead :)

Two free books too so not bad value.
