More shots from my recent trip up to Plum Island. This time it's a seagull who was munching on a clam.
What you don't see in this shot is that the seagull actually has the clam shell in it's mouth. It flew a little bit ahead of me and dropped the shell from about 20' in the air to break it open. Pretty clever technique I've seen them use a few times. I tried to catch it dropping the shell, but it was to quick for me.
