:)Mark these are really nice,,i like them all but the Fritillary has super color and sharp! my favorite..?? what camera...? wild or in a butterfly house?? flash used?? Butterfly pics are one of my fav. i been thinking on that lens,, you might have sold me on one ?! Ron

These were taken at Sweetwater State Park in Lithia Springs, GA. These were taken in an open field with alot of wildflowers next to the Chattahoochee River - so these were in the wild. This is a good representation of the butterflies we have around Georgia. Only one I missed was the Tiger Swallowtail. I did see one and got some shots, but was not close enough to be useful.

I love my lens - use it for just about everything (sports, nature, still life, etc...). It does get heavy though.

All shot with the Rebel 450d xsi. Hope to upgrade soon, but this camera is capable with a good lens.
