ok so im going to try this.. cheap enough..
i also see 2 different types..

you can
1. buy an adapter that allows you to screw 2 lenses together... so 55-250 and 15-55????
2. buy an adapter that allows the one lens to be rotated and screwed into the body

does one work better than the other? ok so for $10 i can get both and most likely will.. just looking for what people have to say..
i see people doing the dual lens.. but not much on the one lens..

now i saw the pringle can trick.. that just seems weird.. i do have a mount i can cut the hole in.. give the kids the pringles to empty can... paint can.... put 18-55 lens into other end of can... viola...

so the 3rd one is a true DIY... but which out of the 3 should produce the better results knowing they are all a cheap way...

Personally I wouldn't use a pringles can as an extension tube, just because I don't want any dust etc. on my sensor + a pringles can isn't very solid, so it could break easily.
I received my Kenko extension tubes just today and reversed my 50mm lens, and used my pringles can as a flash thingy instead.

Almost like this, and I use a reversed 50mm + extension tubes.

yeah i dont have the coin-age for kenko.. so i definitely want to try something to play around with.. i was told to get the non AF versions of the tubes and told they are cheap too... so trying to determine if cheap tubes, 2 lens or lens flip is the way to go for a start.... xmas is coming!!!!!

I didn't pay for my extension tubes, my original plan was to get a 10€ reverse ring and a cheap set of tubes for 20€.
I'd much rather get a cheap extension tube set, not a diy pringles can.
You could also get a bellows but I haven't checked their prices. But like you said, you're probably getting the rings for borth reverse mounting and doing the 2 lens configuration.
I'd say try both if you have the money, you can use a pringles can for a flash unless you already have one.

ok ring to attach 2 58mm-58mm lenses together is ordered.. so now 30day wait..
plus got 2 best offers ... 1 for extension tubes and 1 for lens reverse adapter (1 lens) same company... once if offer accepted (offered $1 less...) then 30 days on that...
