Looked at the OpTech Strap? There's even a POTN-branded (external link) one, which helps support this forum. All my SLRs and several of my binocular sets have POTN straps.

Yeah, I've checked them out. Didn't really jive well with them.

Crumpler's is awesomely comfortable but I just got Op-tech's sling which is way way way cheaper than that stupid R-rapid thing and it does the same thing. Love it!

Tried the OpTech for any length of time? Ask anyone how I feel about Domke. And I'm using OpTech straps except on my Pentax 6.5x21 Pappilo binoculars, which have the Domke non-swivel (secured by OpTech connectors).

Yeah, the sling. I also have the POTN one but it's so0o0o short. I've used the sling for hours. So great and easy to use. And Jon, I know you and Domke. It's like me and Crumpler. Just wish I had the money to buy nearly as many Donke bags that you have. :D

Bumping this thread instead of starting a new one.

Does anyone have experience with the Think Tank strap?

Op Tech makes some excellent products - don't rule them out; comfortable, well padded, good weight distribution.

Not a fan of the buckle connectors, to be honest. I've never trusted them to hold my gear.

What sort of weight do you intend to place on them? They are quite sturdy.
