Shampoo sounds like an unfortunate name for a hair product.

I got my 550D for christmas last year (I paid for it but the wife wrapped it) and saved up for 3 months for a decent lens (Tamron 28-300 VC ). Then I got left some money in a will and got my 2 L lenses with it. Now i'm saving up again for a 7D (hopefully before christmas this year) and hope to get the extras (battery grip, batteries, extra CF cards and a nifty fifty) for christmas from the wife (paid for myself again).

If Todd show us the 5D3 / 3D, we might not ask to see the photo

Once a year, I see what my wife spent on herself, and then I spend that much for photo equipment.

Love that!

Started off by saving the less cash I got from my grocery shopping trips.
Then started making money from production gigs.
Then started slowing selectively revealing the gear when the wife was around.

Now I work too much and there is too much for her to discern what is new and what is old and I tell her I've had everything for a long time anyway.
The other nice thing is we are both getting old. So with dementia I don't buy as much anymore because tomorrow it will all be "new" all over again.

Lotsa stuff, running outta room and a wife...I keep looking at her and wondering???
