I still haven't found an easy way to view EXIF info from within a browser window on this Droid tablet. Firefox for Droids can't run all the same add-ons that the PC version can use.

Ah....so there is a downside to tablets.

There's another downside, too. They aren't the easiest things to type on. I'm pretty fast on a regular ol' keyboard but using an on-screen keyboard turns me into a hunt-n-peck typer, slowing me WAY down.

I had much better luck with the trains today. As I drove up to the loop there was a *very* long freight train stopped at the bottom of the hill waiting for the signal to go chugging up through the loop. So, I hurried up to the vantage point, set up the video camera and got the DSLR ready just in time to hear the whistle blow as it started. I haven't looked at it yet, but I don't think the video is going to be any good. I didn't pick a very good place to set the camera up. I found a better place after I'd already started recording, so maybe I'll go back again sometime soon and get better video. In the meantime, I got a bunch o' still photos of it. Now, to get working on 'em...

I need to wander down by our local (1897 B&O relic) station and set up to watch for the freights rolling through some weekend.

I caught one! Got the last one before sunset tonight. I wish the front end was in focus, it was rolling at full tilt.

Is that your shadow at the bottom of the frame? If so, you sure were close!

Yup, that's my shadow. I even stepped closer for some shots of the cars.
