I should probably clone out those power lines in the upper right, huh? My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

I'd kill to have skies that looked like that. I was there Friday afternoon until about noon today (Sunday). The sky changed drastically by the minute. When I arrived in Tehachapi it was overcast and drizzling. About an hour later it was snowing very heavily, but the ground wasn't frozen so it wasn't sticking. Might as well have just been raining instead. Then, Saturday morning I headed northwest to the loop. In the 12 hours since that heavy snow/rain/drizzle, even the dirt roads had dried up well enough to drive on and for a while the skies turned into what you see in that photo I posted. My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
