So which would you rather have....Bunny Rabbit or Mr. Moose? Bond is totally inappropriate for the wee lad.

Good morning.

So Julian - have you enticed any more folks to pre-order the 1DX or a TS-E 17 lately? ;-)a

For the 1D X no. :p For the 17 TS-E, yes! You gonna get one? ;)

Nice fake tilt/shift, Lonnie. If only you had Julian's T/S lens :D

I can loan it for rent. ;) Although, I really need to do more of these types of shots. It's just fun tinkering with the TS function.

I'm thinking you're more the Bunny Rabbit type.

So, I get home form Disneyland last night, turn on the computers and the old one I was using to run my backup drives won't boot. I suspect the OS is corrupted again. So, this morning, I moved the external drives to the new computer and pulled the old one out. It was new in 2004 and has already had the power supply, video card and hard drive replaced. I'm not putting any more money into it so into the attic it goes.

I'm going to start liquidating some of the older peripherals I've got taking up space in the attic. Keyboards, monitors, etc. (Anyone know a good use for old CRT monitors?) I'm thinking I'll either offer it up to the railroad museum or to the members of the local DSLR group. I don't want the hassles of shipping so it's all going to be local.

Don't think I'll be getting the TS-E 17 since I already have the TS-E 24.

I'm still learning, but it is fun to play with.

Hmmmm...I was thinking Mr. Moose. But either one would be better than Bond.

Do we really want Harm running around with all those ping pong balls at his disposal?

Hey Lonnie! I forgot to say that I LOVED that tilt-shift effect you did with your PP on that train shot.. totally cool! :)

Thanks! :D

That would be fun to play around with some day. It's a long way out of my budget right now, though.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Punching out on the ground seldom has a pretty ending. That sucks.
