I've had several Olympus digital cameras and have been happy with all of 'em. I wouldn't hesitate to jump on that deal if I was looking for a new compact camera... I wouldn't hesitate to jump on that deal if I was looking for a new compact camera... I thought the same thing.. I had been looking at this one about a year ago, but didn't want to pay the price... this with the lenses included, and a memory card seems like a smokin' deal... FlyingPhotog wrote in post #13371589 One of the guys who was with us at the airshow in Texas had one of these and while it took great images, I couldn't help but notice that, despite the smaller sizes involved, he still needed a bag to carry everything! ![]() IMO, that kind of negates the purpose of having something small and discreet to bring along when you don't want to bring your SLR (and its bag...) It one cool feature: You could tap the LCD on the back and the camera would focus on that spot and take the shot. I think that would be a very sneaky way to do street shooting. A stranger would think you were just chimping or checking settings while you were actually shooting! I could toss it all in my purse if I had slightly bigger one... Rual Metro already knows about me... had something to do with chasing a tiny little flower that had blown onto the highway... but it was soooo puurrrty and I couldn't resist the way it had settled into that crack in the middle of the road..... So I went to photograph it in the traffic.... caused a bit of ground turblance and distrupted the afternoon drive home for most people....
