I certainly hope this was said in jest. Nothing could be further from the truth.

At times, depending on who you listen to, it has sounded like that. However, I'm with Tim. It's really hard to tell what they want, other than the right to camp out on and trash public property, or private property not belonging to them.

London, Ontario sent in the police and removed the Occupy folks at 1am this morning. They warned them several times about being in the park illegally (tents and after 10pm) and finally cleared them all out.

I was just watching a video....I am seriously wondering if half the people causing trouble at the Occupy sites aren't being paid to go in and stir things up. There is one woman that goes postal on a guy trying to have an intelligent conversation. Screaming, swearing and acting like a two year old are sure fire ways to showcase your cause.:rolleyes:

I went through the 69 pictures that are posted at the newspapers website. Pretty much everyone in the pictures looks like the sort of folk that you see on Cops. All they do is make people lose any shred of respect that they may have for them.

Probably. The "Establishment" may not have gotten any sense of reality, but they've gotten a strong sense of PR.

I know for sure MTV is producing an episode of the show "True Life" in which they send a few young people into occupy wall street to find out how the day to day life is there.

I think municipalities everywhere have lost patience with these people. From what I can see, governments have been very accommodating and all the protesters have done is ruin the places they are occupying.

San Diego ran them out of the civic plaza a couple of weeks ago after the protesters defied an agreement with police for only one tent and put up a bunch more. In addition, two local business were forced to close their doors after threats and intimidation from the protesters. The occupy San Diego movement hasn't made the news in over a week...

After two rainstorms in the last week or so and another heavy one expected this coming weekend, the protest is finished here.
