Yes, great tribute Dan.

Remembrance Day here today with a Minute's Silence to remember the fallen at 11am. Not as much hype as Anzac day in April, I guess what can be called our main tribute to the fallen.

TGIF and beer o'clock. A James Squire's Amber Ale. Been a heck of a week, deadlines met and now to move into the next stage of my major project.

Armistice Day today. 2 minutes of silence at 11am, on the 11th hour of the 11th day. Usually every place in the UK will come to a halt. Train stations, buses, airports, offices, people will just stop and stand/sit still. It is truly a sight to see. In the offices, they ring the fire alarm bells to show the start of the 2 minute silence, then a quick on afterwards to let life continue.

Wear a poppy with pride today

Remembrance Sunday is also a very poignant moment too.
