The sad part is how much of that I actually understand from the one 400 level science (well, technically, physics I guess) course I took in college. I still dont know why I took that class, but we had fun.

Fun? hahahahaha you're crazy!

I don't think enough development work was done on it before it went into production. If the DOD hadn't squandered so much money on developing a plane without a mission, the B-2 bomber, and put it instead into the development of the V-22, it wouldn't have had the problems it did.

The B-2 never should have been built in the first place, but the Air Force isn't happy unless they have all the coolest, high-tech toys. The F-22 is a perfect example...

And the F-35's an even better one . . . They learned nothing from the TFX boondoggle 40-odd years ago.

Interesting morning here. My doctor just grounded me for the rest of the month. I get to stay home and take narcotic drugs until January 30.

I didn't follow the Doc's instructions and overdid it. Except for a serious tongue lashing, there is no permanent damage. SheWhoMustBeObeyed has assured the Doc that I will be a good boy for the next 3 weeks.

Since I have all this time off, I'm wondering if it's time to head somewhere for a road trip.

Vegas is overloaded this week with CES.

I was thinking Death Valley, and Palm Springs.
